This project maps out existing community gardens and food-growing initiatives, helping to connect growers, organisations, and potential partners. By building these connections, we aim to strengthen local food networks and support sustainable community growing.
Farmer Dialogues This project explores the need for a local network or farm cluster group focused on regenerative farming. By bringing farmers together, we hope to create a space for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and support in adopting sustainable agricultural practices.
Tree Planting Since 2021, East Renfrewshire Council has planted over 30,000 trees across 26 ‘wee woods’ as a legacy of COP26. With the help of schoolchildren and local residents, these new woodlands are growing into a greener future. The council has now committed to planting 10,000 more trees each year, ensuring even more community involvement in rewilding and climate action.
